Why choose aardvark?
aardvark productions ltd was one of the first companies in the UK to be awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, which means that you can be sure that your students will be given the highest quality event in a safe environment because the Quality Badge scheme combines for the first time, learning and safety into one easily recognisable badge for all organisations providing learning inside or outside the classroom experiences
What makes us different?
We only use professional actors who are very experienced at creating believable characters to interact with the children and are all DBS checked We arrive fully equipped with the items needed to recreate the lives of ordinary people from the past and tailor our workshops to the exact requirements of the school, rather than presenting you with a standard workshop [although we do have workshops for all eras, which have already proved very popular] All of our workshops for key stage 1, key stage 2, key stage 3 and key stage 4 children throughout London, Kent, Surrey, Bedfordshire etc. are very hands-on, because we limit each character to a maximum of 30 pupils at a time and as our artefacts are safe reproductions, the children can handle them with confidence This gives your pupils a much better experience. The usual format for a 45 minute workshop is around 15 minutes talk and 30 minutes supervised hands-on experience
